I was shown this diamond by a very trusted family jeweler. I''m looking for that really special diamond for an engagement ring. This stone looked absolutely stunning in person, but I wanted to get some more knowledgeable opinions. Is this a reasonable price? This is all the information I wrote down:

Do you have the crown and pavilion angles? This 2 critical information will help determine if the diamond is well cut or not (which determines its sparkle).

This diamond scored a 2.6 on the Holloway Cut Advisor, with a score under 2 being desirable, but the steep pavillion angle could have caused this score to take a hit. It looks like a nice make of diamond and as you have seen it and think it is stunning, compare it to some others if you can to make sure you enjoy it''s personality, but if you are happy with it then that is the main thing!

You are welcome! That is a huge advantage in being able to see the diamond, many of us don't in this situation, but your own eyes rarely lie, so it sounds like you may have found your rock!
