Is this a decent price for this stone?
Does having a pointed cutlet compared to no cutlet going to hurt the looks of this stone?
OPINION: Will this size stone look big enough by itself in a floating setting on a size 4.5 finger?

That looks like a great stone from the numbers...do you have any images like idealscope or images of the diamond to confirm?

Pointed culet and no culet are the same thing, just different terminology. (PS..it's culet, not cutlet, that is a piece of meat!!)

On a size 4.5 that seems like it'd be a nice diamond size...good luck!!

No images, but it is a Cut Above H @ A, if that helps??

If it is A Cut Above...you can and should request image..WF can do them for you, including scope images and a close up mag of the stone etc.

I would get those if they are not already available to you...! They should confirm what the numbers say.

The stone is from whiteflash, and there is a ideal scope that i just looked at, but i don''t know what to look for, its just a black and red pattern??

White indicates light leakage, black and red is very good - exactly what you should be looking for. The IS image looks good - sharp arrows and minimal light leakage. I don''t think you can go wrong with this stone. Colorless stones look very icy white - beautiful.

Hi there!

This sounds like a fabulous stone. Can i just ask why you went for VS2 color E?

You would still get an eye clean stone going for an SI1 and you could take your color up to perhaps (F,G or H) That would allow you to purchase an even bigger diamond, or to reduce the cost.

Explore all the options first, before you make your purchase. I am a finger size 4.5 and I think 1.36ct will look very substantial.

I used to think that VS1, colour E,F or G was the only thing to have. But, since joining pricescope, I have seen the most fabulous stones that have been color J.

Take your time, and do some comparisons.

Good luck Blod

OK, before I pull the trigger, how about this stone:

Allows me to buy the size I want, ideal scope was all red and black, there is a copy of the certificate on whiteflash.
CAN SOMEONE with knowledge of inclusions look at the certificate copy to see if the inclusions would be noticeable? (whiteflash) just search: H@A, 1.5-1.52, G, SI1 (ct size is 1.514) Thanks for the help!!!

I''m too lazy to search, can you post a link?

That 2nd stone looks good too from specs. WF ACA''s are cut pretty consistently...I''m sure you''d be happy with them. My husband has one in his ring and it''s a blazing stone!

Personally I''d prefer the 2nd stone size wise and also I had a G stone and it was very colorless to me, I never saw a hint of anything. SI is a great option as long as the inclusions are eye-clean...you can also call WF and ask them if it is eye-clean, they have a standard definition and I am sure someone would be happy to clear up the issue for you.

Good luck!

all of the inclusions are on the bottom part of the stone, none were shown on the arrows (top). I pulled the trigger on the 1.514.

Congratulations!!! Nice choice!!!

I can''t get it to link, and it is not on whiteflash''s search anymore; but if you search it through pricescope, it still comes up. I put it through pricescope''s cut analyzer and it scored 1.3. Everything scored excellent, except the diameter spread scored very good. The 1.5 stone (G, SI1) actually had less white than the 1.36 (E, VS2) when i compared the Ideal Scope images, so as of right now, I am happy with my purchase. Since the inclusions on the certificate were shown as being on the bottom, does that mean it will be eye-clean? Thanks for the help and advice...

Wow, what a great size stone and zooming in on it, it looks like no inclusions stand out. It looks like a stunner. Don''t forget to show us the result.

Thanks, hopefully the inclusions won''t be noticeable from the sides with a floating setting.
this url will take you to the AGS certificate.
