Hello,

I''m thinking about purchasing the following stone and I really would like to get everyone''s opinions. I tried looking around for GIA Princess Cut grading tables but couldn''t find any. I believe GIA is now creating one but only for the round cuts. Anyway, please let me know if the following, on paper of course sounds good to you.

GIA
Princess Cut
6.23 x 6.17 x 4.10 mm
1.22 - carat
Depth - 66.5
Table - 76 %
Girdle - very thin to slighty thick
Culet - none
Polish - VG
Symemetry - VG
Clarity - VS1
Color - H
Fl - Faint

In person the stone looks really good but I''m a bit concerned with the table and fluorescence. All comments appreciated.

Thanks

welcome to ps!

you can find cut grading charts at www.gemappraisers.com.
i don''t like the depth/table on that stone. if they were directly reversed i would be much more impressed.
anything below med. blue fluorescence (faint, negligable etc.) cannot be detected under normal viewing conditions, so don''t worry about that.

belle gave you a great chart. Also as far as flourescence is concerend there is nothing to be worried about with this stone. researcher is a great expert on princess cuts, hopefully she will chime in soon.

I would also want to know where on the girdle is it "very thin." I wouldn''t personally want the girdle to be very thin near any of the four points.
