hello all, after countless hours of browsing forums and educating myself about diamonds (i previously didn''t know anything!). I have finally determed what kind of a diamond i would like.
I am looking for an ideal cut (h&a) round brilliant, btw .85 and 1.0 - vs2-si1 range d-g color range.
My budget is between 4500 to maybe a bit over 5000 (including a simple solitare setting)
I have browsed online and decided to deal with excel diamonds and have selected the following 4 stones from their superbcert selection.
I''d like your input on the following stones, the links even include further info like idealscope readings and brilliancescope.
I am hestitating between these 4 stones because im not sure about the whiteness of the H colored ones and wondering if it is worth it to go with the E color one which is a bit more expensive, or if it is worth it to go with the si2 which is eye clean, but h color! I was told that these diamonds would face up like 1ct diamonds because they are well cut. I would like to get a bigger diamond but these are the sizes which fall in my budget without sacrificing quality. What is important for me is the sparkle and fire of the diamonds more than the size. I''d also like know if the prices are pretty good. They seem pretty good to me as compared to other sites.
Here they are, thanks for your inputs....this is the first major purchase i make in my life and a bit nervous!!!!

any1 ?

the .88 stone seems like a good deal to me, what do u guys think. i''d really like some input please as i''d like to make this purchase this week

Sorry for the lack of replies, I think basically they''re all excellent choices. You''re not going to go wrong with a superb cert. I would stay away from SI2, and then just get the biggest one =).

If you want to split hairs, you can enter the numbers in the cut advisor located under tools. And see where they score. Anything under 2 are excellent numbers.
