Expert advice needed!!!

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum. I am looking for a loose diamond. I have shortlisted 3 and will greatly appreciate the experts' comments.

I am quite concerned by the clouds, crystal and features on the stone, although they are all of VS2 clarity.

All three look like beautiful choices and WF has rated the ACA as eye clean, and the two from JA don't appear to be an issue either. Are you sure that you want to stay with an E F color? You can purchase much more diamond by dropping to a G or H and the stone will still be very white and bright face up in it's setting. Color is a very personal choice, so it's something that you need to feel comfortable with.

Thanks for your advice... personally i prefer colourless stone and hence i go for E/F colour.

Haven't thought of the setting yet.

Which one is better? Whiteflash's ACA or James Allen's "True Heart"?

Umm, tough choice. The stones that you picked are all top quality, so I guess for me it would come down to value. They all had similar specs, and I don't that you will be able to tell the difference between the E and the F's once you have the diamond set. Did you request idealscope images from JA? That would be the deciding factor for me, if they all come back great, I'd chose the least expensive and put the savings towards an amazing setting.

I would also consider the upgrade policy of both the vendors as well. I know that JA's policy states that you have to spend twice as much as the original price for the new stone. I'm not sure how WF works. JA also has a 2 year buy back program which is unique to PS vendors and they also have a longer return policy than WF. I prefer WF setting to JA though. They seem to be of a better quality. I own a JA setting and have never had an issue and I think it's beautiful, but many PSers have WF settings are they are incredibly beautiful. If you go with JA though ask about there Vatche settings, they carry them now although I haven't seen them on their site yet. I'm wondering how they will be priced against some of the other vendors. Don't forget to ask for your PS discount either btw!!!

The Idealscopes for all the True H&A JA are available as a tab above the picture.

All the Idealscopes look good, all will be stunning. Maybe the ACA from WF will be a tiny tiny tiny bit more stunning. If you want really top of the line cut also check out highperformance diamonds, brian gavin diamonds and good old gold.

I'm truly not doing well tonight! The idealscopes look fine on the JA stones Diamond freak. I think that your just going to have to go with your gut on this one. I'd make sure that the vendor I purchased the stone from could also set it for me. Can't wait to here what you decide!

I just wanted to mention as well, that these three stones are no less top of the line than BGD GOG or HPD, they all have branded diamonds and they are all beautiful, but no one vendor supplies a more beautiful diamond than another.
