First off, big kudos to everybody here. I''ve spent quite a few evenings soaking up as much as my head can hold. I''d be completely lost in my hunt for an e-ring without all of your collective help.

From everything that I''ve read, it sounds like it''s best to get tension rings made by one of the big 4 (Niessing, Kretchmer, Danhov or G&A). One post mentioned that James Allen carried Danhov tensions, but they looked more like G&A. When I asked, the folks at JA said that they make their own tension rings (been making them for 2 years).

I was wondering:
1) If anybody has had any experiences with tension rings from JA?
2) Can anybody speak to the quality / durability of JA tension rings?

In the meantime, I''ve been looking up local B&M stores to see the big 4 ring makers up close.
