I'm turning 30 in a couple of months and I've been trying to figure out how to mark the occassion, if at all
. I've tossed around the idea of a birthday bash, a little getaway to mexico, and a few other ideas, but i'm also seriously considering skipping all of that for a gorgeous bit of jewelry. (and maybe some cake and ice cream!!!)
I've been fixated on the idea of a bezel eternity-ish ring for some time now. i think that i've posted a couple of threads trying to get ideas and suggestions. there is something about the style that just speaks to me. so pretty. my first love was a celebration ring from tiffany's. the one with smaller and larger round stones that alternate. very nice. but, then i came across single stone's amazing website (THANKS dani
) and i was just stuck on those rings.
specifically the following combination posted below. so perfect. i love the combination of the ecs with the oecs. a-m-a-z--i-n-g! now, i would have to build this beautiful combination over time, because while i am certainly a lucky lady (diamonds ARE my birth stone), i'm not that lucky
so a couple of questions:
1) does anyone have any feedback on single stone. great experiences, bad experiences, satisfied experiences?
2) if you were me, which ring would you start with, the EC (flanking) band or the OEC (middle band). there is a price difference, but not enough to keep me from getting one vs. the other.
3) aside from turning 30, give me some other occasions to justify the other two bands
ha!
4) do you think that wearing these style rings on my middle finger would be odd??
i hope that you can see the picture and i would not be getting the rings in YG, but rather plat.
