experience with ERD custom rings?

SORRY everyone!! Didn''t mean to submit yet. I''m basically just interested in hearing how people''s experience with ERD and having a custom ring made by Mark. We are working with him and Mark is super sweet but it''s been about a week and a half and we are still waiting for just the renderings!!!

I know Mark got set back b/c of a family illness, but he told me I''d have something by the end of the week and as of Friday I hadn''t received anything. Not even an email from Mark saying he wouldn''t be able to get my anything. HMPH!

My BF and I have been looking since January and SOOO ready to pull the trigger and move forward, that its just so hard to sit back and wait. And then once we agree on the drawings...it will be another few weeks for the actual ring to be made....can we expect the same delay in that process??

Just wondering if this is the "norm" for ERD or Mark???? I know it will be worth the wait in the end, judging from all the happy PSers....but I''m beginning to lose faith.....

It''s normal. He''s not the quickest, but he does great work. And everything will be done by the timeframe he gives. He''s just not that great at updates unless you contact him!

Oh believe me - I have been stalking Mark!! Emailing him every other day....he just keeps saying "its coming, it''s coming".

No offense...but that''s a bit much! Let the man have some time to work and then if you don''t hear from him in a reasonable timeframe, THEN give him a call or an email. But he needs some time!

My ring was custom from ERD...The entire process took 2+ months. I believe Mark''s operation is smaller than say, White Flash or some of the other vendors here on PS. He and Gary give personal attention to everything and I believe it''s just the two of them running the company. They will personally attend to all the details so be patient. It''s totally worth the wait!

I was exaggerating neat freak. He told me last wednesday Id have it after the weekend. The following Tuesday I sent him an email. And then I checken in with him the end of the week.

From what he told me, Mark has had an awful week. He could only squeeze me in at 6pm on Thursday. When I left at 7:30, he still had quite a few hours of work ahead of him.
