Could anybody tell me what price difference I should have to pay between 1.0 carat F color VS2 GIA rated "Very Good" cut and one with "Excellent" cut? I''ve got the price for a "Very good" cut but am wondering whether I could stretch my budget to an "Excellent" cut?

Thanks for your help.

Not necessary a VG cut grade in GIA implies a not that great performer and that a EX cut grade by GIA implies a great performer.

Can he get you an AGS cut graded AGS0 stone?

What is your budget?

Maybe we can find you one online and you ask him to price and spec match the stone?

It depends, need actual diamonds in order to compare, some VG cut grade can be super diamonds and look better than some " steep deep" with an Excellent cut grade, post the proportions of any diamonds you are interested in and we can take a look for you.
