Wedding Examples of welcome party invite wording?

Hi guys!

We''re doing a welcome party where all of our guests are invited, in place of a traditional rehearsal dinner. Instead of a sit down dinner, it will be heavy hors d''ouerves and wine/beer. We''re doing a little theme with wines from our favorite countries with corresponding snacks and small plates.

Any ideas on cute wording or sample invitations? Particularly a wine theme? Thank you!

Also, I assume it is weird to say on an invitatin "heavy hors d''ouerves" ?? Our welcome party is from 7-9pm (so dinner time), and I want people to know that, while it is a standing reception, there will be enough food there to fill everyone up for dinner. Any ideas on how to do this?
