European E.G.L. was dead on accurate!!!!! YEAH!

I posted a couple days ago about a 3.15 round brilliant diamond I was purchasing from a private party and it had a European E.G.L. cert that had graded the diamond as a SI1 G color and I was worried about it being misgraded. Well, it arrived in the mail today and the thing is a FIRECRACKER!!!! My appraiser said the color, clarity, and measurements are DEAD ON!!!! I am so thrilled and wanted to thank everyone for the great advise you gave me.

It is nice to know those other certs come through sometimes!!

I will post pictures as soon as I can. The appraiser was impressed with the cut, polish and symmetry as well ans said it was an Ideal cut diamond by most standards. (Wouldn''t qualify for the AGS 000)

He told me replacement value on a diamond of this size and quality would run about 36,000.00 on the low end of the pricing spectrum!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH! I am so thrilled I can hardly stand it!

I am just going to set it in a standard solitaire setting 6 prong tiffany head untill I get used to the size.
