Hi Everyone

I´m getting a custom made ring with a euro shank and a horseshoe sizer for when my hand swells in the summer. I´m thinking if I can´t stand the horsehoe sizer and have to take it out, I will have to re-size the ring. Is it really all that difficult to re-size a euro shank smaller?

Many Thanks

PS-need answers as soon as humanly possible. Thanks

Sizing a ring a bit smaller is generally no problem at all. HOWEVER, if there are tiny diamonds set into the shank they may become loose, especially if they extend way down the sides. An all metal shank poses little problem. Euro shanks are not problematic.

just curious how come you need both? euro and horse shoe sizer? I thought one of the purpose of either is to reduce the spinning due to finger size changes which you''ve stated on swelling? but I maybe wrong. I''d just do one or the other as I''ve contemplated either before.

I have a Euro shank on my 5 stone anniversary band. I recently had it sized from a 6.5 to a 6 with no problems...

I''d personally just get the ring first and see how it goes. Then if you need a sizer, put one on.
