Etoile - Yellow Gold

Is all 18kt yellow gold the same color? For example, the Tiffany''s Etoile on their site looks different than other site''s version of this ring in 18kt yellow gold. If not, do different jewelers make different shades of 18kt gold rings?

The color of gold will change with the content, such as 14k, 18k, 22k, 24k, but also with the percentage of non-gold alloys which are mixed with the gold to achieve the desired karat content... Thus it is likely that the color of 18k gold will differ slightly between vendors, but also between production batches.
