Hi,
I''m new to the forum and new to the world of diamonds. My husband has kindly offered to be me a new ring. My wedding and engagement rings are yellow gold and I want to convert to white gold. I don''t really want to replace my wedding/engagement rings as I think I would feel that they were not my real ones. However when i chose them I really wasn''t very interested in jewellery and now I am. So I had thought about getting a white eternity ring and wearing this on it''s own without any other rings. I tried a few channel settings on and they just didn''t look good on their own. However I seen this ring and it looks really nice on, substantial enough to wear on it''s own I thought. What do you think of wearing an eternity ring on it''s own, do people do it?? Also, what do you think of the bar set diamonds? I like the contrast of metal. A picture of it is attached. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I think eternity bands are perfect to wear alone. The ring you posted is lovely. Bar set rings are really nice and If you loved it, then go for it!

Love the ring! I"m a huge fan of bar set, bezel set, semi bezel, anything bezel anything bar set...lol.

So I love love love it! if you like it, doesn't matter what any of us thinks, you are the one wearing it. So go for it!

Would any type of band go with this or would I need to get one custom made if I did decide to get a band as well? And do you think if I just wore this, people would know I was married or would it look very engagement-y?

Oh, I think that ring is lovely, I really like the design! It could certainly be worn by itself, so I say go for it if you like it!

I think it would work great as a stand alone ring. I''m not sure how it would work next to another ring. Is there a way you can see it and try it on in person or even with the ring(s) you want to wear it with? I don''t think it looks engagement-y at all. If you were wearing it solo on your left hand I would assume it was a wedding ring and you were married.

I''m also searching for an "eternity ring" for our 10th wedding anniversary.

I have decided to get a five-stone diamond ring for my ring finger on right hand, while keeping the engagement ring and wedding band on the left ring finger.

I love the ring you posted. I think it''s great to wear alone - maybe on the right hand if you don''t want it to replace your e-ring and wedding band?
