Good Afternoon PS,
I need to order my eternity wedding band soon and am a bit concerned about the ring size. I currently have a knife edge 1.8mm solitaire and am adding a .15 eternity band for our wedding in May which will be over 3mm thick.
Now that the winter is over and the summer days are here (South Louisiana), I "sometimes" find my 5.25 solitaire getting tight (as in not spinning). When Im cold, my finger is actually a bit smaller and the ring barely makes it over my large knuckle but spins on my finger. (See picture for largish knuckle problem)
So, for the eternity, would you suggest going to a 5.5 to avoid the tight feeling when swollen? I am truly a 5.25 (or less) and don't want the ring to be too big. Most jewelers said go 5.5 but these rings are not returnable.
I have not yet found any stores that carry a wide enough band in either size to do a real life comparison.
When you stack, do you go a bit larger?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers!
