Hello,
I am finally starting to look for a wedding band for my fiance.
After many considerations she has finally decided on getting a shared claw eternity band.
Naturally, I am back on pricescope to learn some more. I found alot of help here when I was looking for her engagement ring:
(Dont mind the hair on the knuckle in the first pic... its my hand... just thought i would clarify hehe)
I believe that the we have decided to use .1 - .15 diamonds.
We have gone to several jewellers and have found that the prices really do fluctuate.
My question to you guys is how important is clarity when looking at the stones for an eternity band (given that they are so much smaller)?
I went to one jeweller today which uses F-G and SI grade stones. He said that if I wanted to he could use all SI1/VS2 stones however I would not notice the difference. I went to another jeweller that said quite the opposite. He said that he only uses hand selected SI1 stones and that I would notice the diffrence in terms of how light return/fire.. He also wanted significantly more money.
When it came to getting the Asscher I really did my research and learned about the significance of cut, table/depth proportions. etc...
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a beautiful eternity band.. As pretty as those rings look in Tiffany & CO I cant justify the money...
Thanks
