Eternity band with Trellis or France pave?

I would like to have a 3mm eternity band custom made and I was wondering which setting requires less babysitting?

The top one has shared prongs, so if one prong ribs off you can loose 2 stones (but they dont cost a fortune and in these images I like the diamonds closer together as in the top image.
