Our 10th anniversary is coming up in a few months and I''m not having much luck finding what I want in an eternity band (or a jeweler to put it all together).
Although it''s not particularly exotic I do have some specific requests, I thought it would be pretty simple but so far it hasn''t been! (Five different jewelers (3 online, 2 local) haven''t been able to quote me on it).
While I have a budget I also want to keep the diamond size up and with that in mind I want to alternate with very pale blue aquamarines between the diamonds, of the same cut, shape and size. I really like this look and color combination, with a bonus being the lower cost of aquamarines.
Her ring size is 7.
Diamonds are as follows: my estimate is that I will need seven (7) of: diamond, round brilliant cut, 0.4 carat, F color, SI-1, Excellent cut/symmetry.
I like the look this band from Bluenile. The important aspects are the shared prong setting and the overall ''openess'' of the design, particularly the way the back of the ring is open and stones are exposed (not recessed into the setting), also critical are the nice even, symmetrical shape and spacing of the settings.
I''ve included a photos contrasting it with a similar setting that I do not like. The differences are maybe subtle but the look of the bluenile version is much preferred. Overall I''m not that picky but the symmetry and finished ''look'' of the ring is important.Dont like this
Do you guys have any recommendations for who/where I can get this done? Ballpark estimates on cost?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Keith
