Eternity band in design development. Feedback needed.

I like the octs with rounds but I see what you are saying about the hex and the points of the kites. Thats

going to have to be your call. Either would be beautiful if you ask me. (sorry I''m not much help)

actually i am now leaning to the hexs...i think the octagonal shape may look too blocky

any thoughts on a band of platinum and diamonds in this honeycomb pattern? (ignore the emeralds etc)

The 8 sided shape would give you smoother sides which may be a bit more comfortable and catch less on clothing. It may be easier to fit another ring up more flush to the sides of the 8 sided symmetry, too. On the other hand, the 6 sided shape is the "honeycomb" style. This 6 sided shape could allow you to have two or three rows of nested stones, but it could become quite wide. You could use smaller diamonds to control the overall width, I suppose. These honeycomb designs in old Art Deco items are bead set and not bezels. Honeycomb is a naturally attractive look.
