Eternity band has loose stones!

After 5 yrs of marriage, a couple of the diamonds in my eternity band (channel set, round diamonds, eternity band) became loose so we took it to the jeweler.

We received the ring back a few days later and the stones are still loose and I can slide some of them back and forth slightly. I am just wondering what they do to tighten up the stones and if I should bother taking it back to the jeweler AGAIN (it''s rather inconvenient and out of the way). also is it normal to have some gaps between the stones? I''m wondering if i should just take it to another jeweler.

(it''s a size 5 ring, approx 1 carat total weight, if that matters)

I may be way off on this one, but could different stones somehow have come loose while he was fixing the original loose stones? I have no clue how they fix that issue, especially with an eternity band. I would just give them a call and let them know that your stones are still loose and take it from there. If they''re not willing to explain the process to you and fix a mistake then find a jeweler who will
