Estimated cost of Custom Halo

Hi everyone! I''ve been a lurker here for a while and I appreciate everyone''s kindness, photos and willingness to help. Let''s face it, this is an important decision and investment. We all want the perfect spouse and a little bling to match that perfection that we have found!

That being said, my BF and I are in discussions about THE RING! This is the second go around for both of us, and we both want an element of surprise, but he wants me to have everything I''ve ever wanted. I know, I know...

Sooooo, we''ve narrowed it down (cue drum roll)...

We have a fabulous local jeweler but I can''t help but to admire the works of Leon, Brian and others. What I am looking for is very similar (ok, pretty much the exact) to the Harry Winston MicroPave Halo. Center stone will be around 2-2.5ct.

Can anyone tell me a ballpark of what that setting will look like from a cost standpoint (minus the center stone)? I figured I would ask you all first before contacting some of the big guns. I don''t want to waste anyone''s time.

Can I just add that I have seen the most gorgeous rings on here?! I''m addicted to this place. Move over Facebook!

Hey Lola- I got a quote from Leon for his Heidy ring which is similar and it was 5K, I think the ariana which is closer to what you are looking for is a little less. Also check with ERD as they have a good
winston replica. A lot of folks here have that ring and it is gorgeous. I am not sure but they can probably adapt it for a round if that is what you choose.

I would just contact Leon and ask for a quote on a ring close to what you are looking for. I have found his responses quick and helpful. Brian also does excellent work and Lesley is a doll. You could tell
her what you want and she will email you a ballpark price.

Thanks luvtosparkle! My first ER was a princess cathedral with channel set stones around the band and matching eternity band. It was gorgeous but I''m looking for something totally different now. I got tons of compliments on it but I found it became ''run of the mill'' later on. Thanks for you reply. That really helps!
