Engagement ring/Wedding band

I was proposed you and given a wedding band, which I love and is exactly what I wanted. I did not want a fancy ring. Here is my question....can I wear the band as an engagement ring BEFORE we get married, which should be in the next month or so, or should I keep it safe until the official day?

First off, Congratulations on your engagement! I don''t think that there are set rules about this : ) If you will have only one ring, which is, in essence, your engagement and wedding ring, then I would wear it now until the wedding as an engagement ring. Pull it off the day of the wedding and have him put it back on during the vows and then wear it more : )

Will you tell us more about it? Is it white gold, yellow gold, platinum? Does it have sparkles? : )
