I found this picture on pinterest and I can't find the designer anywhere. I love it to pieces and I really really want it. Please help!

Could be JAR for all I know.

You really want to wear that? Do you have any ideal how fragile that setting with those paved prongs are going to be? It's not very practical.

All that is said knowing that this might be a troll post.

It's not a "troll" post. I'm asking a serious question. And Yes I do want to wear it.

Will you be able to get the giant rock that is making it look like that? And it looks like the weight of the stone could bend that head...

Plus you need the surface area for that design. How large (in MM) is your stone (and what shape)?

Yeah, I agree it looks beautiful, but I think it would be a nightmare to wear. You would have to take it off for just about anything you did with your hands, shower, cook, sleep, fold laundry. Pave is so delicate and done right uses minimal amounts of metal, so I would guess that this is a ring that you can only wear on very special occasions to look pretty and then take off immediately. There are many similar designs that would have much more structural integrity and still be beautiful, although you will still run the same risk of losing pave.

Also agree that you need a stone large enough.

These examples are all done by masters of their craft. If I was looking for a setting similar to the one that you posted, I would go to one of these men and inquire about it. It will be your best bet at getting both a magnificent and structurally sound ring. You could also contact RDG.

Wow...

Thank you guys so much for your help. I really appreciate it! I know it's a custom ring, but this can help me design my own. Thank you again!

Just be aware that Leon flat out says on his site that he will choose artistic expression over strength of the setting. So he will make settings that are not made for everyday wear and easily bent out of shape. Which is in direct contrast to what usually women want when it comes to their ering.

Yes, I immediately recognized that as Mrs. Flintstone's ring. She has an incredible collection! I'll agree with the others that that ring is really not an everyday ring. It would be a nightmare to lose little stones from that setting. And Leon doesn't recommend wearing a wedding band with it, either.
