I know many of you wore your engagement ring on your right hand during your wedding... but mine doesn''t fit on my right hand! What should I do?

Hi

Thanks for asking, I've totally been wondering this too!

ETA: sorry, no advice

Well you have 3 options: don't wear it at all OR wear it and let him take it off and slip on your wedding band OR wear it and slip on your wedding band in front of it and switch them around after the ceremony.

I think I prefer wearing it and switching after the ceremony... it''s not "weird" to do that right? :)

I wore it, and switched it after the ceremony while all of the bridal party was meeting for photos.

You can leave it in your bridal suite and put it on after the ceremony. Or, you can have you MOH hold it and put it on after your ceremony. Many brides don''t wear their e-ring during their ceremony. It''s not a big deal.

I doubt anyone will even notice!

My cousin tied hers to her wedding band with a small string pre-ceremony and had her husband present her with them both (tied together) during their ceremony.

This is a hard question. My ring fits on my right hand, but I have a turtle ring that lives there already and will be worn at my wedding so that''s out. I like that string idea katamari. I may have to give that a try and see if my rings will go on with the string. I noticed that I sometimes have trouble getting them on at the same time. (when I was trying on wedding bands) I dunno. I could just leave it off, but I would worry about it and just feel naked.

Oh well, I could just leave it on and have him put the wedding band in front of it. No one will notice or care probably.

Honestly. I never thought I would be the type of person to worry about these little things but everything seems so much more important now. I just don''t want to do anything wrong! lol

I left mine upstairs where I got dressed and then put it on after the ceremony. I considered not wearing it at all in order to put more focus on the actual wedding band. In the end, I decided to add it after the ceremony because most of my family hadn''t seen my e-ring yet.

mine doesn''t fit correctly on my right hand, so i''m just going to push is as far as i can onto one of those fingers and then put it back on my left hand after i get the wedding band. i wouldn''t want to not be wearing it during the ceremony, especially since i love it so much. :-)
