We're very happy with the diamond from BN, but looking at other settings. The current ring has the following setting:

That particular setting is pretty, but the pave diamonds are a little underwhelming. Additionally, the setting listed above does not have a matching wedding band.

There is a wedding band on BN that we really like due to the larger diamonds and the circular side view:

However, BN does not offer a matching engagement ring setting.

Is it possible to have a jeweler customize the Bella (#7311) so that a 2 carat round centerstone could be there? Ideally the wedding band and engagement ring would interlock together (I believe we saw something similar in a Memoire wedding band set, but not positive)?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

My suggestion is to return the setting to BN and start over. There are a wealth of options elsewhere.

There are many designers that make matched sets like you are wanting. I am not sure whether WhiteFlash will set a stone not bought through them, but they have some great ones:

If you want a shared prong set like Memoire, I suggest getting Memoire. Shared prong sets are notorious for diamond girdles hitting against the other ring and causing chips. For this reason, we aren't seeing too many of those sets being sold now unless a plain band is worn between the two rings. Memorie is about the best and can be bought at Pearlmans (ask about a PriceScope discount).

This magnificent custom set was made for a PSer by Mark Morrell:

He is a custom ring maker who has made MANY rings for PS members. His work is outstanding and it is fairly expensive. You can read a ton of information on his site. He has certain hours you can call. It is best to reference the rings you like so he can more easily give you a quote. That set has around 10 point diamonds, so I am sure it is pricey. But it is an exceptional set for sure!

Be sure you read his custom page and FAQ page before you call (as he says on his site).
