My amazing fiance proposed to me this evening after just slightly over 5 years together!! (02/06/10) I couldn't be more excited and the ring is just the icing on the cake!
The ring has a 0.57 carat, J color, VS2 clarity (5.36x5.39x3.26mm), Excellent Cut, 1.8 on Cut Advisor (THANK YOU SARAH @ GOOD OLD GOLD!!!!!) and the setting is platinum with a pink diamond halo with platinum double prongs set in 18kt rose gold and two side pink diamonds also in rose gold. Total carat weight is about 1.10 and is a size 5.5. Very similar to the Beaudry design though it has no engraving and a few other subtle changes.
I am absolutely IN LOVE with my ring. I couldn't ask for anything better and did not expect anything near its beauty. I think boyfriend.... errrr..... fiance did an amazing job! (That will take some time to get used to saying!)
