Hello! I have some specs and pics of a diamond I am thinking of as a center stone on an e-ring. I wanted to get everyones opinion on the stone, for some reason I have reservations but overall the guys at whiteflash liked the stone?

Also a regular pic...

7.30x5.01x3.02 (It is on the long side, are you okay with it?)
Personally, I feel the stone is great and nice.

ASET and crown height?
So far that is one of the best long EC''s that I have ever seen images of.

Here is the Sarin...

Thank you for taking a look I really appreciate it, I just uploaded the sarin, I am a novice when it comes to purchasing diamonds and everyone here at PS help so much! Let me know what you think, Bob at Whiteflash says the stone is a very nice stone when you hold it in your hand, as the slight off parallel doesn’t show unless magnified.

The GF likes the stone to be more rectangular than square and figured a 1.45 is nice is shape... Is that too long?

It is very very very nice in diffused lighting but the crown height is lowish.
I would have liked to see 10+%
9% can work ok sometimes, ask for opinions on the fire it produces.

I like it, very classic looking EC!

Ok - just sent off a note and will talk to Bob here soon to find out what he thinks on the fire of the stone.

Bob says he likes the stone and it has a great in person look and fire. He did say the crown was a little low, but he felt it was acceptable and didnt have any interferrence with the fire of the stone. He doesnt have an ASET. He did mention that the IS shows how well the stone reflects. He felt that the images also, given sometimes stones dont photo well, shows the ability of this stone.

So lots of good things from him... Its priced at 4,822 with the pricescope discount, so I am thinking its a go given storm and Lorelei''s
insights! I appreciate you taking a look...

Now, onto figure out the proper setting for potentially this stone...

Got the aset image..

I think it looks good!!

Thanks Lorelei! I will probably purchase it tomorrow, very exciting!

Now to hunt down the right setting. Any recommendations on EC settings? She likes the Tiffany''s Classic Tapered Baguette, but recently has shown an interest in a pave based with accenting stones and a basket like setting...

If anyone has suggestions its appreciated, otherwise ill browse the PS site and take a look at all the styles!

Oh I love the classic EC solitaire with baguettes, my very favourite look! Pave with a basket would be lovely too but I have always had a fondness for the solitaire with bags. Is she leaving it to you which setting you pick?

Pretty diamond, and a classic setting. Perfect!
