Welcome!

Have you seen this diamond? The price looks way too cheap, who is selling it, is it an online auction? I would also have serious doubts whether it is eyeclean. The table looks huge and far greater than the depth, you can't tell everything by the numbers, but I would pass on this one quickly! Also does it have a full EGL report and if so, which division, is it EGL USA, Israel, Europe etc? You get what you pay for. If you want a emerald cut, perhaps we could help you find one?

Yes I found it online.
I have a setting for an engagement ring, but now I need to find a loose diamond for it. I also found this diamond for the same price:

Emerald Cut
Color: H
Carat: 1.34
Clarity: SI1
Cutlet: None
Cert: GIA
Depth: 60.4%
Table: 64%
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
It has no Fluoresence
Measurements: 8.41 x 5.15 x 3.11

is this a better deal?
I know having GIA cert is much better

This one looks better by the numbers, are these diamonds with an online vendor or an online auction? But you really can't buy an emerald cut without photographs and also an ASET image if you can get it. Also it is rare for an SI clarity to be eyeclean in this shape, it is likely you will see inclusions. Also you want to buy online from a reputable vendor with a good return policy. This way an expert vendor can guide you as to whether a diamond is suitable for you or not and tell you if it is eyeclean, so it is best to also stick to inventory or in house diamonds.

Remember... "A deal is only a deal if you are getting EXACTLY what you want "....as someone said once here....

Yes, GIA is a better cert...but have you seen this stone? Is it eye-clean? Does it show color? Never mind if you are getting a deal or not...is this stone a stone you like and are actually interested in? If so, then yes, your getting a deal. The price is incredibly low.

No I have never seen the stone... But I have a 5 day return on it once received. I guess I could purchase it, look it over and if its not to my liking then send it back.

the website I am looking at is shenoadiamonds.com if that site strikes a chord please let me know ASAP!

Use the search tool for shenoadiamonds and that should bring up threads on other''s experiences.

I have a HARD time believing it would be eyeclean. I would pass.
