Yes, it’s finally here! After many months of research, visiting dozens of B&Ms, trying to find out covertly what my DW would like (without being too obvious, since it’s going to be a surprise), and countless hours here on PS trying to figure out what I wanted and what I should focus on, the ring is in my hand!
I looked back at my initial post (seems like a loooong time ago), which stated 10 (yes, ten!!!) basic characteristics that I was hoping for: from cut, to color, to size, to table percentage, etc., etc., and of course, price range. I ended up satisfying ALL ten! Woo-hoo! And most importantly, as has been said many times in this forum, for fancy cuts “ya gotta see ‘em” – I have, and it looks absolutely awesomely gorgeous!
I am posting below the specs of the diamond and a picture of the stone, but will post photos of the ring only after I have given it to her – after all, I feel she should see it first! At that time, I will also give my thanks to the many people who were involved in the process.
