pmpkn, I don''t think it''s USA, here''s the link to a pic of an EGL USA grading report, and it says USA at the top.
It looks like a shallow/steep by the percentages for crown/pavilion. To give you an idea, my stone is a 34/41 with %''s at 14.92/43.39.
It''s possible, that it could grade lower. Does the stone come with a good return policy? If so you can get it independently appraised for about $100 and see the actual color/clarity grading.Date: 6/26/2008 2:11:15 AM

I have seen it in person, no pictures, but I liked what I saw. I''m just worried that it''s more like a J SI1, and don''t want to overpay if the cert is in fact not EGL USA.

Ok, finally got the freakin cert faxed after calling and asking for 2 days straight. Please rip the stone apart. Tell me the good, the bad, the ugly. Also, I can''t see anywhere on the cert that it says EGL USA...so does this mean it isn''t?![]()

HI:
Notwithstanding the EGL question and acknowledging I am just about the last person to talk about proportions....but aren't you comparing your round to a cushion shape?![]()
