If GIA H-I1 sounds good to you, that stone can't miss. It may not be that much different, but two grades difference i not too much to say - as far as I know. And this explains the price. Those certs have a sound reputation for largess... Neither good or bad thing, if you know what to expect.

Anyway, the proportions sound very good, and if this is clean lookin should be worth the trouble to see it in person. Have you seen it ? If not, is there some return policy just in case you do not like what you see ?

I have seen it and she has seen it and we both were impressed. We compared with a GIA cert
H SI2 VG/VG and we liked the EGL cert better

They do have a 30 day return policy

I agree, if you like what you see, the diamond, based on the reported info, is promising, though angles are preferred over degrees. Read the tutorial under knowledge above, consider if you need to do more verifying of it's attractiveness; also, compared to other internet direct matches, this is not a screaming deal (compare to others that are non GIA & AGS certed with the same criteria, with or without AGS0), but, not out of line either...since you want to get a nice looking stone, and you may have it, this is a good start, and maybe finish.

That is allot more than can show via postings. There is nothing "wrong" in the stats you have posted - nothing that I could tell, at least.

Congratulations for the find !

I have previously purchased an EGL graded stone. When took the stone to GIA graduate gemologist ,the stone was graded much lower than that on EGL. So, be careful. make sure you like the stone first before purchasing!
