EGL AV ??

Does anybody know where an EGL certificate with a number beginning wth AV# comes from? Is this a certificate from Israel??

Also, if it is a foreign certificate are they EVER correct?

I can''t tell you where the EGL cert. is from, but have to say that in my experience with the help of the experts, the EGL cert. was pretty accurate! The only difference in grading was in regard to the clarity-VS1 instead of VVS2 but everything else was accurate according to an approx. GIA appraisal...I definately think EGL is worth a look if you have help or have enough expertise on your own to properly determine its grading!
