EGL And TRADE IN.

Are there any vendors that allow trade ins with EGL stones? I noted Whiteflashes trade is only on their GIA sold stones and another vendor only allows trade ins on I''s and above. I saw some very nice EGL''s in another thread, but I''m a bit put off by the "this is it" finality of it all.

Yup. My husband got my diamond at Mervis Diamond Importers in the Washington, DC area. They have a 100% full diamond value lifetime trade-up policy on all of their diamonds. So, if your diamond costs $5000, you basically have $5000 "credit" toward your next diamond purchase. You don''t have to spend a specific extra amount to trade up. You could trade it up for another diamond that costs $5001.
