well, my advisors, i won''t even bore you with the pictures. the numbers were ''right'', the diamond was decidedly not. even i could see it was a dud.

Don't be too discouraged Jeannie. Lots of us have either seen stones that were great by the numbers and sucked in person or that had lousy numbers and looked great for real, so just move on and keep looking. You'll come across one that you love. And don't forget--buy the diamond, not the paper!
