Okay, another EC question. I realize (hey, I know one thing!) that an EC''s proportions are very subjective.

There is another diamond out there with promising #s. It''s proportion is 1.62 while the other stone I''ll preview is 1.32.

I have seen the image on gem appraisers and realize the first on is long and skinnier. all things being "equal" (good table, depth, clarity, color, crown height, etc and carat weight) would one diamond appear larger than the other? what about the sparkle, brilliance factors? or, what about the visual impact of staring at its beautiful facets?

l/w is personal preference.
The light return does go down a bit for the long skinny stones but they can still be beautiful.
