EC or criss cut??

i was perusing EBAY (no plans to purchase anything!!!) and found this listing which says it's an EC, but it's looking like a criss cut to me...any thoughts?? I've never seen an actual criss cut in person, but I've never seen an EC like this...

Thoughts??
