EC Halo Setting Help Please

Hello -
I am resetting my Emerald Cut center stone for our wedding anniversary. I have been working with Yoni and he has been great. The setting I love is this one:

My diamond is 1.33 ct (7.16-5.08 x 3.92)

I am considering adding diamonds on the profile of the halo - but really want to avoid that flat, spaceship-type look seen on so many halo settings.

Any suggestions you all may have would be very very much appreciated !!
