MMtwo is driving me crazy with her beautiful labgrown scissors cut and it has me wondering. Could I have my natural emerald cut made into a scissors/crisscut?

I have no idea as to the answer to this but I am hoping that the experts will weigh in because I'm intrigued about this idea as well!

I thought this too when I saw it on IG. Stunning in the tweezers but interesting when you see it in the setting - there is a lot of "finger coloured" area through the table in the second part of the video which I perceive as likely to be leaky areas. That would drive me nuts!

I always think that about IG sellers who are showing diamonds in tweezers with backlighting - they look great when in the tweezers but the view in a setting/ on the hand/ against a coloured background is much more telling about how it will perform when set.

The problem is that PS has ruined casual diamond browsing for me now. I am always on the lookout for potential setbacks and light leakage issues especially with fancies. Even my asscher was not as impressive once set as it was in tweezers, and I never quite got over that......

Interesting. The ring didn't cause the window, it was always there. But we see the flesh with the ring. (You see it much better than I do.) Reminds me of a certain etsy seller telling his hand model to wave faster.
But my favorite is showing a loose stone on a patterned background.
