You two are so sweet for thinking of me, and no, you didn't miss a post!

I've just been so busy trying to find a job now that we're back and settled, I haven't had much of a chance to write about it.

Our venue looked absolutely beautiful, and the weather was perfect. We got married at sunset, so we had a pink and orange sky as a backdrop. We had several small things go wrong during the ceremony (officiant swallowed a gnat and coughed for a while, microphone didn't work during the first two readings, etc.) but so many people told us it was the sweetest, most genuine ceremony they'd ever been to. And the reception went off without a hitch! As the night ended and we were driven back to the hotel (in our awesome getaway car!), I was struck by how much love we'd been surrounded by the whole night. So struck, in fact, that I burst into tears! On my wedding night!

It was a beautiful day and evening, and I'm so glad we chose to have our close friends and family witness our marriage.

(I know, a short description with no pictures, but I'm waiting to get the pros from the photographer. I think we have ~3 more weeks to wait for those, which won't be easy, but I'll post some here as soon as I get them!)
