eBay Scammer Alerts

I thought there was a running thread for this but couldn’t find it. So maybe this can serve to post items that are ripped off from PSers or known scammers.

I just came across what I think is @bright ice ‘s ring being duped by an eBay seller.

The link worked for me. I’ve noted several eBay sellers with familiar photos. I’ll contact eBay tomorrow and report them.

Aren't these also PSers' rings? I just did a fast scroll through seller's other items. I'm sure there are more in there that I didn't pick out in my quick look

Look at the feedback -- almost all of it comes from people who are "no longer registered users."

@Dee*Jay I believe that sapphire ring belongs to @diamondseeker2006 and I do recognize the others but cannot recall who the owners are.

I was just telling my son about that. He was buying some pretty cheap rings from overseas. I told him not to, but he didn’t listen. We will see if they even come.

Unfortunately it is common practice for those scam sellers to steal / copy other peoples jewellery photos and make out they are selling what is seen in the photo.
eBay doesn’t really care, once a few people get “burned” the eBay account gets closed and the scammers open up another one and so on and so on.
You’ll often see the same photo being used by various scam sellers.
