Ebay Diamond Hoops

I was originally asked to post this question for my sister, who has a limited budget and simple taste, but now I am totally tempted to get a pair of these to just check them out. Both ebay sellers have 100% positive feedback and a no questions asked return policy. So, what do you think of these hoops, and which would you get?

are a good deal or not

I''ve seen some PSers get some great deals off of ebay but you just never can tell (until you make the deal).

I would question the clarity of the first one and the accuracy of the clarity grading on the second, but hey, if you can return them without a restocking fee it''s worth a shot to see them in person.

Gee...most people would probably want them polished.....

No question there are some nice things on eBay- mixed in among a lot of not so nice things with less than accurate descriptions.

One good rule of thumb I''ve found- use the price as a guide.
If a private individual is selling a diamond, this does not neccesarily hold water.
But if a professional seller is asking a price, it''s quite likely a market price ( if it''s not inflated)
Based on market prices, the second pair ( which might drop even further) are likely not as described. They still might be nice, but probably not H/VS2
