Earrings and ASET

Assume the wearer cares about how a viewer sees the earring, and does not care about when s/he takes the earring off and admires it while in hand.

That diamond will not be bright from edge to edge. The whole reason I have ideal cuts for studs is that the entire diamond is bright and it even makes them look larger than stones with lesser light return. And ideal cut is lit up across a room whereas a poorly cut diamond is not. That is my non-scientific explanation...and I have seen it in diamonds I have looked at.
