I think it matters and makes a difference if you have the problems I have with e/rings drooping on your ears. I have to have the big backs to prevent this from happening, they really do make a big difference on how the e/ring sit on my lope.Date: 4/29/2008 10:58:28 PM

I finally bought a pair of diamond studs for my gf and just received them. I don''t know much about earrings, but shouldn''t each stud have the same back? One is much larger than the other. Or am I clueless?

Just wanted to update everyone; I received my replacement studs this morning and they look great. WF was able to send another pair to me in time. Vera was very helpful with my problem and also my time constraints. I''m very impressed with their customer service. And thankfully I won''t be stuck without a wedding gift!
