E-Ring Help!

I have been shopping for an e-ring for about a month now and I have spent most of my time educating myself. While at the mall with my girlfriend I decided to stop at one of the mall jewelers to see if I could get a few clues regarding which style she would like. The sales assistant confirmed everything I have read about mall jewelers and she reaffirmed my position of not buying from a mall jeweler.

My girlfriend really likes the Mark Schneider ring 'Adore', 'Reminiscent', and 'Enchantment'. I have about $2k to spend I was hopeful to spend most of that money on the Diamond (~.50/G or H/eye clean/Ideal Cut).

The closest thing I have been able to find to Mark Schneider is Artcarved. Is it possible to find what I am looking for or do I need to wait a few more months to save the Money for the Mark Schneider setting? Will a .50 diamond look right in one of those settings?

I would appreciate any feedback that is offered.

Do you know how much that setting is? Just trying to figure out how much you have to spend on a stone.

Those settings will probably take most or all of your budget. What about getting a simpler ring now and possibly upgrading the setting for an anniversary? The diamond centralsquare linked looks great and you could do it with one of these settings and still be in budget. Maybe ask your GF what she thinks?
