Hello Everyone,
I had another thread about Costco vs WF before and eventually after advice from several members and especially Gypsy, it lead to what I believe may be a winner for an E-ring.
The rock in question I have held until Monday afternoon. Before I pull the trigger though, I would really like some advice. Gypsy made a comment about light leakage after seeing the idealscope saying it was "acceptable." I do not know how to interpret that (it is barely, or, no problem it is very.. etc) and the problem is, I have not been able to figure out how bad it really is! Light leakage is still a bit of an abstract concept to me. Even though I can now pick it out on an idealscope, I do not know in practicality what it would mean on a ring and if this leakage is bad. The only thing I know is that on the ideal scope reference chart that stone is somewhere between excellent (at least I think).
This is the rock in question:

The gemologist said "...has excellent brilliance and overall light return. The trained eye of the gemologist found it to have a whiter 'G' color, closer to an 'F'. Its fire and sparkle is very good! The diamond is eye clean."
Can anyone chime in on this?
I also found this one, 0.72 I VVS1 True Hearts HCA calc score 1.2, for almost the same price. It looks like maybe it has a better idealscope, but then the color drops to an I. I am not sure if that color drop is worth better light return or If the leaked is slight enough that it is not.
I am not sure if I found a winner and should pull the trigger, if I should go for the backup, or if I should keep looking!
Thank you for any help you can give!
