Don't worry, I can't tell you how many times I put my ring in the box and then panic and search for it thinking I left it somewhere else.

That's good that when you were busy, you still subconsciously put it in the safe place! I have one of those crystal ring holders on my bathroom vanity, and I don't take my rings off unless they go on that holder. I'd be losing them daily if I didn't!

Me too! It's the only place I put it when I take it off for the night. I have a votive holder on the ledge above my sink that I put my
rings in when I am making pizza dough. But that is it.

Once, DH threw out a whole bag of clothes that I had put in a garbage bag to go to the dry cleaner! Luckily, he felt bad enough to do the dumpster diving for me. The bag was found, but unfortunately, he had to tear open about 10 other identical bags. Bleh!
