Dust please, for an elderly AND ailing cat

I have spent all afternoon at the vets with our Oscar--13+ years old and a lymphoma patient. The x-ray showed one kidney had shriveled and the other is more than double the size it should be. He's had an ultrasound, CBC and urinanalysis. He had to get IV fluids because he hasn't eaten in a few days and he hasn't made any "deposits " in the litter box.

We are just waiting until tomorrow when the blood works comes back and then we will discuss the course of action. {I've already shelled out almost $500 today, but hey, he' a member of the family so we can't complain }

Any prayers would be appreciated by the St. Clares.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I went through something similar with my 13 y.o. cat about three months ago. My DH and I had to finally decide what was in Abby's best interest and not our own.
