I think it could be tonight or, at least, this weekend. The ring is coming in today or tomorrow. My SO refuses to tell me when. My detective work isn't working either because once he's decided hes not telling me something, its sort of like a locked vault *grumble*
BUT at breakfast we were planning out our weekend (we are trying to budget ourselves so I've been forcing him to plan things in advance so we know where our money is going) and we are hanging out with his friends tomorrow. So, I asked about that being our night out to eat. He said no. I asked him if we could go down to portland next weekend and he said yes probably so that means that weekend is out of the question.
He made one statement that made me think it'll be tonight... he said We should do something tonight, because I mean, why wait?
Then, when he realized what he said, he backtracked and said I meant about dinner
Hmmm.... Dust please? Even if its not today maybe sometime this weekend or week? I think i'll go crazy if he makes me wait any longer when I know he has the ring!

ETA: Oh, also... On monday he brought up do you want to get your nails done again? And I said no, to expensive why? And he answered maybe you should do them. Hmmm... I just got off the phone with him and I said should i get my nails done tonight (even though we are on a budget?) and he said yes, I think that would be a fine idea. He's coming home earlier than usual today also.
Oh, i also mentioned today is 9/11. It was a significant day for us because we were both in NYC at the time even though we didnt know each other. It is still a day (for me) of great sorrow because of all the people that were lost that day (that I didn't know) and two days later I lost my best friend of an unrelated event. When I mentioned 9/11 he said uh oh.. I knew but I really forgot.
Maybe it won't be today? or maybe he remembers how horrible the day is for me and he'll try to replace these memories with happier ones?
On the off chance that it is today how do i prepare? Should i get some skimpy lingerie? my eyebrows and lip done? HELP?!
