Dust for my sick kitty?

I''m glad he''s feeling better! My coworker''s cat lost a lot of weight and was jaundiced-turns out she had liver problems, too. My coworker forcefed her for a couple of weeks and she''s now eating on her own and all her blood work came back just fine last week. I hope the same thing happens with O.P.! Lots more dust is headed his way!

He is ADORABLE! My big orange boy (Charles) has nose freckles (and mouth freckles), too! I LOVE them. He also has speckled skin around his eyes. It''s so cute! And O.P. and Rat are adorable together!

TONS of dust for you and sweet O.P. - I really hope it is something very treatable and that he has many more wonderful years with you.

It seems like Opster is steadily improving. He''s been very ravenous the past two days, and chirpy again

- he was totally silent when he was sick, I had no idea it would make me so happy to hear him yowl at the bedroom door last night!

He slept in a snuggle heap with Rat all day yesterday (he piled onto Rat and wrapped him up in a hug, it was so cute), with some breaks to stuff his face, and managed to hop up on the new bed last night to snooze with us.

I''m late, but it sounds like OP is doing very well....major dust for continued healing!

Sending you lots and lots of {{{{{DUST}}}}} that he makes a full recovery...

OHMIGOD!!!! **dies of shock** This antibiotic they gave O.P.? It''s making his eye much, much better. He''s had three different antibiotics, two or three different kinds of eye drops, two different ointments and plastic surgery, over the five years I''ve had him, and a bunch of different diagnoses. For some reason, antibiotic #3 is making a huge difference! He had both eyes open all day, minimal goo, and definitely much less red. YAYYYY!

I am so beyond thrilled. I seriously had given up on his poor eye, and just wiped him up a few times a day (which grosses DH out, but oh well, it''s gotta be done). O.P. HAS TWO EYES!!!

YAY that is wonderful news :)

I am so happy to hear the good news about the antibiotics!!!! Sometimes people get mad when people take their pets to the vet and they just prescribe them what they "think" will work, but this is truly awesome that it DID work for you lil'' guy.

One more O.P. update: I think the dust definitely worked, thanks everyone! He's so much improved- he's not wobbly or shaky and he's acting like his old perky self today. He seems to be feeling totally fine, if ravenous. He ate four cans of cat food today and will probably want more soon- where is he putting it???

But yay, he really needs it.

He's is so incredibly easy to pill- it's just been blowing my mind. Since we've been pilling him 2x a day with 2 pills each time, he's gotten so he doesn't even care. I wait till he's sitting and chill, and just pop his mouth open and drop the pill in- you don't have to hold him down, or anything. At first we were having DH hold him and I'd pill him, but I realized he wasn't fighting us at all, and it turns out the less of a deal we make of it, O.P. is even more chill about the process. Today he purred all through the pilling, didn't even flinch or squirm one bit, and I *know* he could have spat one of them out but he didn't even try. He is such the sweetest boy ever

.

(Rat, on the other hand, takes pilling as an invitation to dismember you.)

The eyeball is still improving too. It still waters a bit, but it isn't very goopy anymore, and the swelling is all gone. DH thinks this actually happened with one other antibiotic, but that it went right back to gooey again after the antibiotics were all done. I hope not!

WONDERFUL news!!!!
