Dust for my kitty...

we all beat ourselves up and wonder "what if"......but the reality is that you have provided your kitty with a wonderful home in which to live and love. you have loved her and she you. it doesn''t get any better than that. you are getting her medical help. sometimes doing all the right things is still not enough. but you tried and that is the most anyone can ask.


sorry but the tears are welling...so very sorry that you and kitty are going through this.....

ps has the vet considered a feeding tube as they do for cats with lipidosis? ok, i''m grasping at straws now.

I will ask about that when we get an update this afternoon. I''m touched that you are feeling this so deeply and sorry for what you have gone through with your own beloved cats. They can break your heart.
 
We just heard from the vet. Abby has taken a turn for the worse, again. She has further complications in her heart and abdomen. They are taking xrays to try to determine a diagnosis. If she doesn't respond in the next few days, we cannot let her continue to suffer. I feel gutted.

Oh, no - I just saw the update, I'm so, so very sorry. It's so heartbreaking to watch a loved one suffer, to be doing everything you're able to and still be helpless to fix it - just know that you are doing the very best you can for her, whether it's enough or not, whatever decisions you need to make. I'll be praying with you, and hoping for the miracle of good news.

have been gone all day and am sorry to hear the bad news. i do hope you are able to spend more time with her even if it means spending hours at the vet''s office.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that Abby is not doing well :-( I hope that you and your family are able to spend some quality time with her. I will continue to send positive vibes and love and strength. She knows you love her and you are doing everything you can possibly do. This is so hard.

Abby Lee passed away late this afternoon. Jim and I are devastated. We want to thank all of you for your support during this ordeal. I can always count on my friends here at PS to stand by me when I need them. I will hold you all in my heart

I am so, so sorry about your loss. My heart is heavy for you. It''s hard to lose a furry friend, and pets are some of the best friends a person could have. They become members of the family and hold a special place in the heart forever. I completely understand what you''re going through, as I lost my cat Kiki in August and my Fraidy Cat last Friday. But I know they had long lives and a wonderful home, and I know yours did too.

Deegee~I am so sorry for your loss of Kiki and Fraidy Cat. It hurts so badly to let them go

We are making arrangements for Abby to be buried with Poochie [whom we took in at age 12, when Jim's aunt and uncle were no longer able to care for her] and Woody [our other Maine Coon Cat, who passed away this past Thanksgiving]. I feel badly for our dog, Charlie. He keeps looking for Abby, his best friend. We are just trying to get through the day and want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us on this thread during this very difficult time. You have helped us more than you know
